The General Accounting Office (GAO) is implementing five (5) best practices for risk management.  As a means of implementing these best practices, the Global Institute of Technology and Management (GITM) is undertaking a review of its entire GITM Business Application system to include risk analysis/vulnerability and assessment of its systems, business application training for end users, development and enhancement recommendations, continuity and contingency planning and infrastructure protection review.  Modulant conducts an assessment for several GITM business applications. The GITM business applications were developed over a 10-year period and modified to reflect more complex program requirements.  Without these technical/information databases, the program could not function.
