The Modulant team provides end-to-end IT solutions that make the latest technology within reach. Additionally, the Modulant Team has served as lead engineers on Horizontal Fusion, FORCEnet, SCI Network, internal SPAWAR Charleston network, SPAWAR financial server upgrade and support, and the SPAWAR Charleston Command test lab. Modulant takes great pride in providing the best solution for the maximum benefit at the least possible cost.
- The SCI Network project involved both design and support of SCI networks on both Surface Ships and Submarines. This support includes Laboratory work and onsite installations around the world.
- Modulant is participating in demonstrations of Network Centric Technology termed Horizontal Fusion. As stated by the House Armed Services Committee, “Networks are essential to a net-centric environment; but they have limited value without quality data that is reliable, accessible, and usable in an integrated manner.” The Horizontal Fusion initiative provides tools and means that integrate the smart “pull” of data with expert interpretations of the information. Although the initial focus is on intelligence RDT&E, lessons learned from the intelligence community will be exported to and employed by the DoD business communities such as Finance, Logistics, and Personnel.
- The FORCEnet architecture describes the construct and framework for Naval Warfare in the Information Age, transforming the Navy and Marine Corps into a Network Centric Warfare reality. FORCEnet integrates warriors, sensors, networks, command & control, platforms, and weapons into a networked, distributed joint combat force, scalable across the spectrum of conflict from seabed to space. The Modulant team assisted in creating and rewriting the overall architecture paper that set forth the goals and objectives for the project.
