Alfred Chip Johnson - Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Chip Johnson serves as Chairman and CEO of Modulant where he is responsible for overall corporate operations, management and strategic direction. Chip brings over 15 years experience in operations and management as a seasoned executive and investor. Chip's experience includes the role of Vice Chairman and President of Springbow Solutions, Inc, a digital solutions company which provides key e-business platforms and e-HR management solutions to various Fortune 1000 corporations; Chairman and CEO of Presidio Media Group, a highly successful pioneering publishing company; President and CEO of The Walton Johnson Group, Inc., a high growth investment firm where he participated in over $41 billion of transactions and managed the operations of the companies securities broker dealer, automotive manufacturing and real estate development subsidiaries. Chip also has extensive federal and state government experience serving as Finance Commissioner for the state of Texas where he was pivotal to the oversight of the state's banking and S&L industry; and as a Special Assistant to a former U.S. Senator. Chip holds a BA in Economics from Morehouse College, Atlanta, Georgia and JD from Howard University, Washington, DC

Waddy Caron - Vice President, Government Services

Waddy Caron is responsible for the management and operations of Modulant's Government Services business that provides specialized services for government organizations. Under his leadership, Modulant teams have successfully developed and delivered innovative software solutions. Waddy and his teams have received numerous client satisfaction, outstanding service and excellence awards from their customers. Prior to joining Modulant, Waddy held management and technical leadership roles at several key technology companies, including Policy Management Corporation which was acquired by Computer Associates (CA) in an $800 million transaction. Waddy holds a BA degree in information technology and management science from the University of South Carolina.

Ellsworth Hercules - Vice President, Contextia Products & Solutions

Mr. Hercules is a member of the corporate Board of Advisors and is responsible for management and operations of the Contextia Products & Solutions Group. He has over 20 years senior executive information technology management experience with companies including, IBM, Honeywell, Bank Of America and Woolworths. Most recently he has served as Executive Vice President, Technology, Bank of America; Executive Vice President, Acquisition CIO, MBNA; and Executive Vice President, CIO 3SG Corporation. He has also served as Director, World Wide Technology for Woolworths, Inc. and COO, Team ITG, Inc. Ellsworth holds a holds a BS in Computer Science from Morehouse College, Atlanta, Georgia.

Dawn Porter - Vice President, Finance & Administration

Dawn Porter has 15 years experience in all facets of financial management with expertise in fiscal accountability, internal control practices, reporting for government contracts, financial statements and profitability. Dawn is responsible for implementing Cost Point, producing accurate financials from the system, preparing for external audits, DCAA audits, supervising all administrative staff, and budgeting. As Contract Accounting Manager with Henderson County Public Schools, Dawn restructured accounts payable, implemented new software, and developed policy and procedure manuals for 21 county schools and the central office administration. While Director of Finance at LS3P Associates, Dawn managed all aspects of accounting including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger function, purchasing, and tax planning. She implemented Deltek, a new general ledger package that enabled managers and architects to record and receive "real time" project information. Dawn holds a CPA license in South Carolina, a BA in Special Education from the University of Florida, Tampa, and a Masters degree in Education from The Citadel, Charleston, SC.

Julian Fowler - Chief Technology Officer

Julian Fowler is responsible for Modulant’s product and technology strategies and for the direction of software and services deployments in major commercial accounts. Julian has more than 25 years' experience in software design, data management and migration, and semantic technologies and has held a number of positions at Modulant. Prior to joining Modulant he was founder and principal of PDT Solutions, a UK-based consulting firm providing data modeling and management services to major commercial and government clients. He has extensive experience in large scale data management projects in the financial services, oil & gas, aerospace, defense, automotive, CAD/CAM, and consumer products sectors, and has actively contributed to the successful development of several major standards for exchange and sharing of industrial data. Julian holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Clare College, Cambridge, and an MSc in Computer Science & Applications from the Queen's University of Belfast.

Doug Wheat - Director, Product Management

Doug Wheat is responsible for directing the development and support of CONTEXTIA™.  Doug brings 24 years of experience in building & leading technical teams in the design and development of data analysis and financial software applications. He has managed project teams that developed Internet software for banks and other financial institution clients. Doug previously held key leadership roles at InteliData Technologies, Home Account Network Inc, General Engineering Labs, AT&T, QuesTech Inc., Booz Allen & Hamilton, and Texas Instruments. He has strong expertise in logical and physical subsystem architecture, design, development and implementation of financial software applications. Doug holds a B.A. in Economics and Finance (Magna Cum Laude with Honors) from Muskingum College, New Concord, Ohio and MBA from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio.
