Senior Technical Analyst - IE III [Information Engineer III]

You will be responsible for analysis of customer data sources, business functions, rules and constraints. Must learn and apply the Modulant Information Engineering Methodology utilizing an integrated approach with three technology components – Metadata Management, Logical Information Management and Ontology/Taxonomy Engineering. You will use these techniques to accurately capture and represent the customer’s domain knowledge that is implemented in their application systems, data sources, and business processes using the CONTEXTIA™ Product Suite.
Required Skills
Must possess a strong technology background along with the ability to process abstract concepts, understand and incorporate customer documentation, and communicate with customer subject matter experts to conceptualize and incorporate their knowledge into a CONTEXTIA™ Business Map. Experience in requirements analysis and system development is strongly desired. Occasional travel is required.
Minimum Position Requirements:
- 2 years database development experience
- 2 years data modeling using formal modeling methods
- Process modeling experience
- 2 years working with XML and XML Schema
- Understanding of file formats and system interfaces.
- Good communication and interview skills required
- EAI/EII/ETL experience a plus
- Experience working with Semantic Web technologies OWL/RDF a plus
Required Degree/Experience
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Candidate must have 5 years of IT experience.
