Position OverviewReporting to the Vice President, you will be responsible for capturing IT and Management services related business with Federal Government agencies. You will establish contact with appropriate Federal government Agencies to develop business relationships with key decision makers and uncover relevant business opportunities. You will develop sales/marketing plans and well thought out bid strategies for winning business. You will execute the capture management process from opportunity identification to proposal development to contract award, establishing business relationships with teaming partners as part of the capture strategy.
Background selling IT solutions to government and commercial organizations.
Demonstrated ability to grow revenues.
Knowledge of various acquisition vehicles (GSA Schedules, CPFFs, IDIQs) and the ability to define and implement a strategy for contract development and closure.
Must possess highly entrepreneurial spirit, approach, intelligence, competence, maturity, adaptability, resilience and initiative.
Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with executives and employees at all levels. Must possess excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
Proven record of implementing marketing strategies to leverage the capabilities of an organization into new customers, identifying business opportunities in the IT sector and leading the capture effort to win new business.
BS/BA in Business Management, Administration, or Marketing.
3 years sales experience in Information Technology and/or Management Services to the Federal Government.
